Edge Filtration technique was initially used to clean transformer oil, by the Industry. Advancements in paper technology with additives to strengthen the disc life has enabled the industry to use this technique for machine tool applications.
Further upgradation is done by using dry compressed air to backwash paper disc.The estimated life of reusable paper disc is 6000-8000 working hours, which is very economical and also eco-friendly.
'How it works' shows how concentrated sludge from machine tool coolant is collected and desposed off.
