Deteriorating coolant properties can lead to loss of precision in work piece, reduced tool life & heavy wear on machine parts, need for frequent replenishment of coolant & to avoid unpleasant working environment. ( smells, risk of skin disease)
Effective cleaning of the coolant circulation system is therefore common sense & good house keeping & sound investment.
Tramp oil particularly should be removed from water- oil coolants, as its presence can degrade the coolant properties dramatically, thus considerably reducing its useful life such as
- Loss of cooling & wetting properties
- Deplete emulsifiers
- Nullifying rust-inhabitors
Oil Coalescing is essential to reduce deteriorating coolant properties, which reduces loss of precision, lower tool life, unhealthy environment (smell, risk of skin diseases ) and ensures oil free effluent being disposed off or going to E.T.P.
While an Oil Skimmer works in limited area, Coalescer removes entire tramp oil from coolant tank or washing machine tank. It not only removes tramp oil, but also increases life of coolant by aeration process.
Versitlie Use :
The mobile oil separator (Coalescer), can be used wherever there is a requirement to clean & remove non-emulsified oil from aqueous solution or remove tramp oil & solids from emulsions. The mobile unit can service individual machine coolant tanks or containers with the help of float assembly and self priming pump.
Air gets introduced due to pump suction connected to float assembly.
No specially trained operator is required. The unit can continuously run without attendance and without hindering production. |
